I grew up in Kannapolis, NC, a small town outside of Charlotte.  As a child we took our vacations at the coast and in the mountains.  Fortunately, we were not far away from the best of both worlds.  We spent summer days on the beach, took mountain trips in the fall to see the foliage and in the winter to play in the snow.

When I completed high school I attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke obtaining a BA degree in English Literature.  I first visited Wilmington while in college when friends and I often came for walks downtown along the River, browsed the many specialty shops and chose a different restaurant on each occasion.

Through high school and college I worked as a server in upscale restaurants and realized how much I enjoyed speaking with people from different areas and getting to know their families expectations.  After college I moved back home to Kannapolis and obtained my license as a NC Insurance Adjuster and worked for eight years assisting customers with automobile accident claims.  Both of these employment experiences assisted me in learning to communicate with people from many different walks of life and listen in order to find out what they really wanted and needed in order to be happy.

Over the past five years my husband and I have been investing in real estate.  We own several homes in Cabarrus County and decided to move towards the coast after purchasing properties in Brunswick County.  Since my move to Brunswick County and witnessing first hand the tremendous growth around the Wilmington area, my goals began to change and my family encouraged me as I pursued a new career obtaining my license as a NC Real Estate Broker.

Personally, I have experienced many sides of the real estate transaction…being the buyer for personal interests, investor for future goals, and seller of my own properties.  I am confident these milestones in my life will be useful in helping others find just the right piece of unique property to make their dreams come true as I have done for my family.
