I came to the Southeast from New England after marrying a native North Carolinian.  We have traveled enough to know that every place has different allures to different people and thus have chosen to live in this area due to our love for the ocean.  This is where we spend most of our free time boating, fishing and enjoying our three “perfect” grandchildren.

Mike and I both work with Platinum Properties.  After my successful career in human resources for a large corporation and his sale of the family business, we decided to diversify our interests.  Mike is involved in land acquisitioning, finding the best available properties for our clientele; and I am on the sales team, matching people with the right property for them.  This “matchmaking” comes from years of experience.  We have bought and sold a variety of real estate on our own, so we have learned a lot of lessons that cannot be acquired otherwise. 

Several years ago we ran into Sean Scanlon, the founder and CEO of Platinum Properties, during various boat outings.  He and his family became a part of our small boating club and we eventually started working on small projects together.  It wasn’t long before we gained a great deal of respect and admiration for his innate ability for developing strong teams, attention to detail and “under-promising while over-delivering.”  This is why we are a part of the Platinum Properties family and we hope you will become part of it too!
