Platinum Properties USA, LLC, based in Leland, North Carolina 5 minutes south of historic downtown Wilmington and minutes from all of the pristine beaches the area has to offer, was founded in 2003 by Sean Scanlon who, since 1994, has been involved in real estate projects throughout the United States. His major focus has been on the Southeastern North Carolina coastal and mountain regions with sales in excess of 300 million dollars over the past three years. The company’s current projects in various stages of development include approximately 1,000 single-family homesites and 150 luxury condominium units among the companies’ inventory.

Sean has always placed a high value on customer support and constantly strives to offer his clients a quality product at a fair price. He is also a partner in a number of other corporate and limited liability entities.

Sean serves on the board of The Carousel Center of Wilmington whose mission is to provide support and related services to sexually and physically abused children throughout several counties in North Carolina. He, with the entire Platinum Properties USA team, is committed to supporting The Center as well as the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center which provides professional health care and comfort to people with life-limiting illness.

In addition to serving as managing member and founder of Platinum Properties USA, Sean is also founder and president of The Scanlon Group USA, LLC which serves as a full service property development and marketing consultant firm facilitating the acquisition of land, and the planning and building of communities. The Scanlon Group USA, LLC has continued to grow in the southeast area by providing unparalleled services to its development partners.
Sean, his wife Erica Lynne and their daughter, Makena Laine, reside in nearby Belville, North Carolina.
