I was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina from the age of two.  My family vacationed on the various beaches along the Carolina coast my entire life, so I had always wanted to live closer to the beach.  I received that opportunity when I was accepted the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1997. 

After a few years of school, I took some time off and worked several different jobs including a bartender, a mechanic, and a cook at an Italian restaurant.  It was during this period of time that I met my future wife, Jennifer.  After a few years of courting, she gave me the motivation to get back in school and finish.  We got engaged on New Years Eve of 2003, and married on May 21, 2006.  I worked really hard at UNCW and graduated the week before our wedding with two degrees, Management and Marketing.  It was through the Cameron School of Business at UNCW that I realized the full economic potential of the area and sought employment in an up and coming industry—real estate and land development. 

My wife and I bought a house in Brunswick County during the summer of 2005.  I have had the unique experience of watching the area grow over the last 10 years and am excited about being a part of it through Platinum Properties USA.  Helping to develop communities in this area gives me a chance to contribute to the growth and is something that I take tremendous pride in.
